Recognize Resist & Recover is the mantra of this Murrieta Ca. based music charity who has been at the forefront of the national dialogue of the prevention and intolerance of abuse towards women and youth since 2009. Their founder and multi-award winning producer, Jason Brawner states. “By creating an acute sensitivity in young people to the first signs of disrespect that quickens to duress, we hope to stop abuse for generations to come.”

Each of the 5 Girls Against Abuse albums feature a different assemblage of female artists who have made commitments in their own lives to stand against disrespect and mistreatment. Each of these role model artists has donated a song from their own upcoming albums that they are writing with Jason. Volume 5 includes star artists from The Voice, AGT, and American Idol. Jason has been producing artists of the 3 talent show conglomerates since 2002. His various credits include Carrie Underwood, Beyoncé, Hilary Duff, Thompson Square, The Manhattans and many more.

Erupting with personal experiences, modern themes, and salient melodies, The Girls Against Abuse are poised to be a voice for others around the world navigating today’s unique challenges socially, romantically, personally and economically. Board Member and President of 11 years Bonnie Terk, explains, “Our purpose is to: 1) Raise awareness and provide information to the public on the issues of teen and domestic violence. 2) To educate and inform through positive messages in music. 3) To raise funds through musical performances and public events to be donated to shelters and organizations that provide services or education for those affected by abuse.”

Singer of the lead single ‘Victim Card’ Ryan Valenzuela says, “Our Vol. 5 album lets every generation
know that we are all doing life together and that each of us has earned a place in this world.” Ryan’s pop/rock ballad, ‘Victim Card’ is available now on your favorite streaming platforms.
